City's volunteers to host Biggest Morning Tea in support of Cancer Council
Community members are invited to the City’s Biggest Morning Tea at Bayswater Community Centre on Wednesday 22 May.
City of Bayswater volunteers will host a Biggest Morning Tea at Bayswater Community Centre from 9.30am to 12pm on Wednesday 22 May to raise funds for Cancer Council.
Community members are invited to enjoy a delicious Devonshire tea for $5 and browse market stalls of plants, handcrafted goods by the Community Centre’s craft group and other items.
Attendees can also purchase a raffle ticket for $2 to go into the draw to win a $100 gift card for The Good Grocer on 2nd Avenue in Mount Lawley or a hamper of wine, chocolate and other goodies.
All proceeds from the morning will be donated to Cancer Council to help support their vital research and make a difference to those impacted by cancer.
Presented in collaboration with the City’s Community Centre volunteers, the morning tea coincides with National Volunteer Week 2024 from 20 to 26 May.
The City’s Biggest Morning Tea is supported by The Good Grocer 2nd Ave.
